What Will Adam Do for Garden Grove, Specifically District #1

#1 and most importantly I will take special interest out of our local politics and be the true voice of the citizens!  I am not a Politician nor do I have any aspirations of becoming one......I want to help our city and especially West Grove!

#2 - Crime/Police Resources

We have to make our streets safe so our kids, wives and parents are safe walking up to the store.  We live in a community that is tremendous the way that we watch out for each other but that is not enough.  We need to increase the presence of our Police department and make changes to our policies that criminals know it is not alright and accepted by our citizens of West Garden Grove.  We need to make sure that everyone knows, crime is not tolerated in Garden Grove regardless of the severity.  We need to make sure that we hold people accountable for their actions!

#3 - Retail in West Garden Grove Means Tax Dollars Stay in GG

What can we do to hold land owners in our community accountable for the condition of their properties?  We have had vacancy in the old China Restaurant for at least the last ten years with frequent tenants of transients.  We have had a vacancy in the old Coco's for several years and will not see any movement on getting a tenant because Coco's is still paying on the property.  We need to start holding land owners accountable for their properties and work with them to sell to motivated investors or to work with the citizens to find businesses that we need and will support in West Grove.  We need to bring in stores to keep the Sales Tax coming back to our community.  As a friend recently told me.....for good or bad Valley View is the busiest corridor in the are with more people going down this street on a daily basis, the businesses along the corridor should be flourishing if we get the right businesses!

#4 - Balance the Budget to Meet the Needs of the Citizens

Garden Grove is a hidden gem in North Orange County.  Our homes are selling at prices among the highest in the Nation.  We are a short ride to the beach and a couple hours to the mountains.  We have to evaluate the needs of our community and ensure that we are delivering the services that distinguish us as that hidden gem.  

- We should not be living with safety levels that are far inferior than other cities!

- We should not be considering outsourcing the services of the great men and women of the Garden Grove Fire Department!

- We should not be spending money that we do not have!

- We need to deliver services that our community needs!
